Forwards:
Tye McGinn was this weeks standout performer. He scored 2 goals and assisted on 5 others over three games which included two 3 point nights. Dave Labrecque also had a strong performance with a goal and an assist in each of his two games. Brendan Ranford scored 2 and assisted on 2 in the three he played. Michael Chaput finished with 3 (1 goal, 2 assists) points in 2 games. Ben Holmstrom was the leading scorer for the Phantoms this week with a goal and 3 assists. Shane Harper and Mike Testwuide were the other two prospects to record a point with the Phantoms. Harper scored his first AHL goal and Testwuide finished with an assist.

Goalies:
Adam Morrison started one of the Saskatoon’s two games this weekend. He stopped all but one of the 28 shots he saw and recorded the win. Nic Riopel was tremendous in the two games he started with the Phantoms. He allowed only one goal in each game, stopping a total of 51 of the 53 shots he faced. He lead the Phantoms to their first back to back wins all season. Brian Stewart didn’t fare as well in the game he started. He let in 5 goals on 27 shots.
