Will the last two losses open up an opportunity for Michael Leighton to start?

The Flyers bookended their Christmas break with two one-sided losses to the Panthers (5-0) and Canucks (6-2). While the goaltenders were not completely to blame, they haven’t exactly stood on their kept the team in the games either.

    I think a prolonged losing skid during this road trip will be the best argument for giving Leighton a shot…provided he’s really ready to come back.

    Like Bob H said last week, I don’t think Leighton should be given a ton of work right off the bat, but Holmgren and Laviolette need to figure this the *bleep* out before it becomes a major issue.
