The North American Prospect Report follows the weekly progress of Flyers prospects playing in the various leagues throughout North America.
Forwards:
Shane Harper continues to play well in the ECHL. He registered at least a point in each game he played and finished the week with 5 points (2 g, 3 a) in 4 games. Dave Labrecque scored a goal in each of his three games and also added an assist. Tye McGinn had a pair of assists in the first of his two games. Brendan Ranford remains in a goal drought and appears to be struggling offensively with both of his regular linemates out of the lineup due to injury. He only recorded an assist over his 4 games. Eric Wellwood lead the way for the Phantoms with 2 goals and assist over 3 games. Stefan Legein also scored a goal and assisted on another. Jonathon Kalinski and Mike Testwuide also contributed with a pair of assists.

Brandon Manning had a good week offensively, but not so good defensively. He scored a goal and assisted on two others, but was a -6 on the week. Erik Gustafsson had a 2 assist performance for the Phantoms on Friday. Ricard Blidstrand and Kevin Marshall also finished with two assists on the week.

Goalies:
Johan Backlund stopped 26 of 29 shots in his start this weekend, but was tagged with the loss in the shootout. Nic Riopel got the start in all 4 games for the Road Warriors. He let in 3 of 44 shots in game one, 5 of 29 in game two, 4 of 24 in game three, and he stopped 36 of 37 in game four. Brian Stewart got the start in 2 games for Bakersfield. He stopped 24 of 25 in his first start, but had no offensive support and was tagged with the loss. He was pulled in his second start after letting in 3 goals on 12 shots. He came in relief in a third game where he stopped all 8 shots. Adam Morrison did not dress this week due to illness.
