Over the past 16 weeks I’ve covered what I believed to be the most critical aspects of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
The timing worked out quite well as it seems to have coincided with the lockout (unfortunately). So rather than continue to delve into more mundane topics — for the six or so of you that don’t find them all mundane — in a CBA that is no longer relevant, I thought that it would make more sense to cease CBA 101 in its current form.
However, for the foreseeable future I’d be more than happy to take any and all questions on CBA related topics. Whether you have a question related to something I’ve already covered “Hey, you said in ‘Waivers and re-entry waivers’ that…”, a specific event for which you have a question “Why were the Flyers stuck with a cap hit for Randy Jones once he was claimed by the Kings?”, or something that else entirely “Why does Gary Bettman bobble his head so much when he talks about the CBA…or anything at all?”, I’d be thrilled to hear from you.
Feel free to reach out to me via your favorite means of communication. You can find me on the official Flyers Faithful twitter account @Flyers_Faithful, you can e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org, or you can comment here! Thank you for the interest over the past few months, and I hope to hear from some of you.
