We’re back with your weekly European Flyer updates. All European teams appear to be heading on extended breaks until mid-November. But until then, enjoy my friends…

Jakub Voracek (Prague Lev – KHL) – Jakub just game back from a knee injury that sidelined him for a month.

Games Played: 1. Goals: 1. Assists: 0. Points: 1

Tom Sestito (Sheffield Steelers – England) – Sestito has begun to play a playmaker’s role for his team, as he notched 5 points that included a three-assist game and a game-winning goal.

Games Played: 2. Goals: 1. Assists: 4. Points: 5. Penalty Min: A lot

Ilya Bryzgalov (CSKA Moscow – KHL) – Bryz’s struggles have not been left in Philly, as Russian media and fans have begun to boo the Bryz.Check out Bill Meltzer’s piece on Bryzgalov’s struggles (HockeyBuzz)

Games Played: 6. Goals Against: 13. GAA: 2.92. Save%: .891 Wins: 2. Losses: 4.

So it appears our boys in Black and Orange are  faring quite well in Europe (except for Mr. Bryzgalov). Danny B. and G-sus continue to battle each other in points. Meanwhile, Tom Sestito has begun showing a scoring touch that had yet to be seen in the NHL.

Keep it locked in to Flyers Faithful every Monday for your European updates.
