Ice Hockey Fundraiser for Sandy Hook Victims

So, the hockey season is back but there’s always room for more hockey. Plus, we promised we would host a fundraiser for Sandy Hook victims. Well, here it is.

What: Two-team ice hockey game fundraiser

When: Sunday, 2/24 from 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Where: Pennsauken Flyers Skate Zone

Cost: $40 per person

UPDATE: There are no more spots left. Registration is full.

More Details

  1. There will be two teams. Each team will consist of 15 skaters and one goalie.
  2. Each participant will get a jersey.
  3. Goalie spots go quickly. Like every other spot, the first to register and pay get the spot. All spots are gone.
  4. This game is going to be old school. There will be no draft. The two captains are picking sticks.
  5. This time around, we are going with a girl power theme. CSN’s Sarah Baicker and Flyers Ice Girl, Rachel Miller.
  6. We will raffle off items and do a 50/50 raffle at the event.
  7. We will also be selling shirts and posters at the event. A portion of the proceeds from each sale will go towards the money raised for victims.
  8. You need to be 18 or older to play.
  9. Don’t worry, we’ll still be doing fundraisers to raise money for Snider Hockey.
  10. You’re awesome. Thanks for helping us raise money for a good cause!
  11. People are encouraged to come watch. There is no fee to do so. The only cost is to play.
  12. Although this should go without saying, you need to have hockey gear and be capable of playing ice hockey in order to participate.
  13. Each player will need to sign a waiver before playing. You will receive that as a PDF via email shortly.

I wish I was good enough to play in these games. Great thing you’re all doing.

Thanks, man. It’s all for fun, though. It doesn’t matter how good you are!
