The 20-year old has played the last four seasons with Baie-Comeau Drakkar. The Flyers signed him as a free agent to a two-way deal. At 6’ 2” and 218 pounds he can surely help the Flyers in rebuilding a woeful blue line from last year.
Coming off of his best year in the QMJHL, Lamarche had 9 goals and 34 assists for a total of 43 points in 55 games. He also finished the season with a career high +31 rating.
In three years with the Baie-Comeau Drakkar, Lamarche played 190 games and amassed 17 goals and 79 assists for 96 total points. He will most likely play with the Flyers American Hockey League team, the Adirondack Phantoms.
The Flyers also recently signed Right Winger Petr Straka, a former teammate of Lamarche. That makes two signings from the Baie-Comeau Drakkar for the Flyers in the last few months.
