Gameday FAQ: Flyers vs Rangers

Steve Jacot/Flyers Faithful

Here is your Philadelphia Flyers Gameday FAQ for Thursday, October 24, 2013.

When and where are the Flyers playing?

The Philadelphia Flyers (1-7-0) (side note: LOL) host the New York Rangers (2-5-0) (more wins than the Giants at least) at the Wells Fargo Center for a 7:00pm matchup.

How can I watch this game?

This game will be shown on Comcast Sportsnet (CSN Philly) locally. You can also find it on MSG if you’re in the Big Apple.

The game will also be broadcast on 97.5 The Fanatic for those who prefer the smooth sounds of Tim Saunders and Chris Therien.

Who do I have to look forward to seeing in orange and black?

Truffle shuffle time!

We’re expecting the new lines to come together like this:

Michael Raffl – Claude Giroux – Vincent Lecavalier

Tye McGinn – Brayden Schenn – Jakub Voracek

Matt Read – Sean Couturier – Wayne Simmonds

Zac Rinaldo – Max Talbot – Adam Hall

Kimmo Timonen – Erik Gustafsson

Nicklas Grossmann – Braydon Coburn

Luke Schenn – Mark Streit

Steve Mason will be between the pipes for the Flyguys in this one.

Who do I have to look forward to booing?

The Rangers put out a better lineup in preseason than what they’re throwing out there now.

Chris Kreider – Derek Stepan – Brad Richards

Benoit Pouliot – Derick Brassard – J.T. Miller

Taylor Pyatt – Brian Boyle – Mats Zuccarello

Brandon Mashinter – Dominic Moore – Derek Dorsett

Ryan McDonagh – Dan Girardi

Marc Staal – Anton Stralman

John Moore – Michael Del Zotto

Cam Talbot will be making his NHL debut for the Rags in this one as King Henrik is currently venturing around the world, trying to rediscover his mojo.

What’s your prediction?

3-1 Flyers win. The Rangers ruin the shutout with under two minutes to go in the grand Flyers tradition.
