Ben Holmstrom Will Play in 200th Game With Phantoms Tonight, Becomes First in Team History To Do So

On Friday, Ben Holmstrom will play in his 200th game with the Adirondack Phantoms, a huge milestone in and of itself. But what makes it an even bigger milestone is the fact that he will be the first player ever to do so. In honor of this major achievement, here’s a look back at Holmstrom’s career: The Colorado Springs native got his start in the United States Hockey League, where he spent three seasons with the Sioux Falls Stampede. Future Flyers Report: The Subway Super Series continued, Stolarz playing well in OHL

After taking part in his first game for Team QMJHL against Team Russia in the Subway Super Series, Samuel Morin suited up for his second contest last Wednesday, which was a 4-3 victory for Team QMJHL. Despite not recording a point in the win, Morin was plus-3 with a pair of penalty minutes. In both contests for Team QMJHL, Morin had zero points and four PIMs with a plus-3 rating. Team Russia then went on to face Team OHL, who named Scott Laughton their captain. Team OHL dropped the teams’ first tilt on Thursday by a count of 5-2 and …

Flight Plan: Turning It Around

The Philadelphia Flyers have been one of the hottest teams in the entire NHL in November. Since their first game of the month, a 7-0 blowout loss to the Washington Capitals, they have managed to garner at least a point in the standings in every game except one, as they’ve gone 7-1-2. It’s a pretty impressive little run they’ve been on, but what’s also refreshing is that they are starting to score goals at a more consistent pace.
