The Philadelphia Flyers ended their season with a 2-1 road win against the Ottawa Senators tonight. With a little help from an unexpected source, the Philadelphia Flyers won 5-2 over the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night, their second strong effort in a row — despite being out of playoff contention. Oliver Lauridsen scored his first NHL goal 11:31 into the second period, with some help from Boston’s Zdeno Chara. The Philadelphia Flyers were able to post a win in their first game since knowing they were eliminated from playoff contention, as they beat the Carolina Hurricanes 5-3 on the road tonight.
