Tuesday is the first day of the season for a handful of teams, and the Philadelphia Flyers, who finished their preseason off at a dismal 0-5-1, are ready to kick off their year on Wednesday with a home game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, before travelling up to Canada to play the Montreal Canadiens this Saturday. Frequent Flyer Miles: Boucher cut, Prospal possibly going to Europe, AHL training camps

In what’s been the busiest week in terms of movement since the beginning of the Frequent Flyer Miles column, a laundry list of former Philadelphia Flyers and draft picks, Adirondack Phantoms, and Trenton Titans changed clubs, signed extensions, or were involved in rumors. A handful of former Flyers were involved in transactions, as Brian Boucher, Vinny Prospal, David Laliberte, and Nikolay Zherdev found themselves on the move.
