The Philadelphia Flyers haven’t hoisted the Cup since the mid-70’s, but fans and players alike believe the 2013 shortened season uniquely benefits the “Broad Street Bullies.” Last year, while the team was ousted by the underdog Devils in the second round of the playoffs, the Flyers’ youngsters gained much-needed postseason experience that they will hopefully carry into this new season. Among them, left wing Brayden Schenn factors to be a pivotal Flyer this season.
