Penn State 2016 commit Kris Myllari is already turning heads

He won’t be in Happy Valley until the fall of 2016, but ’97 born defenseman Kris Myllari has the potential be a huge pick-up for Guy Gadowsky and the Nittany Lions. Myllari played with the prestigious Ottawa Senators Midget AAA program last year and had 25 points in 29 games played. The 6-foot-2, 185 pound rearguard currently plays for Kanata Stallions of the CCHL, where in 24 games he has two goals and 9 assists for 11 points. Fifteen games into the season, the Adirondack Phantoms currently hold a 7-6-2 record as they await Friday’s matchup against the Binghamton Senators. Their record may not look like much, but six of those seven wins came during a recent six-game winning streak that ended on November 10th after a 3-2 loss to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. They’ve now lost two since that win streak, but they are showing some serious promise, thanks to contributions all throughout the roster. I wanted to do something a bit different this week by recording a quick video that shows how I like to use advanced statistics (at least in one example).
