On Saturday, the Adirondack Phantoms announced that they had recalled goaltender Carsen Chubak from the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL. This move appears to have been made due to the injury sustained by Phantoms goaltender Yann Danis in Friday night’s game against the Albany Devils. Danis was injured in a collision with several players about nine minutes into the first period, and Cal Heeter came in to replace him for the rest of the game. After taking part in his first game for Team QMJHL against Team Russia in the Subway Super Series, Samuel Morin suited up for his second contest last Wednesday, which was a 4-3 victory for Team QMJHL. Despite not recording a point in the win, Morin was plus-3 with a pair of penalty minutes. In both contests for Team QMJHL, Morin had zero points and four PIMs with a plus-3 rating.
