In response to their three-game losing streak last week, the Adirondack Phantoms came out and won all three of their contests this week. After they allowed one goal in their first two wins, the Phantoms allowed four goals last night, but were able to come up with a one-goal win against a team they have struggled against all year. Although the Phantoms only moved up to 11th place in the standings, they are now four points behind the Syracuse Crunch (Anaheim Ducks’ AHL affiliate) for eighth in the Eastern Conference. Minor League Update: 3/12-3/18

    The Phantoms dropped all three of their games this week, as they currently sit three points out of the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference. Although they sit 13th in the conference with 63 points, the Phantoms are still within striking distance of the Syracuse Crunch (Anaheim Ducks’ AHL affiliate), a team Adirondack lost to twice in the last seven days. The Phantoms’ first loss to the Crunch came on Wednesday in a 2-1 defeat at the Glens Falls Civic Center. The Phantoms had another strong week, as they recorded a pair of wins to extend their winning streak to four games before they lost yesterday. Although the winning streak snapped, the Phantoms still have their winning streak on the road intact, a place they have struggled all season long. Adirondack will see if they can extend that winning streak to four games this week, as they hit the road after a pair of home contests. The Phantoms lost their first game of the week, but won their last two to win back-to-back games for the first time since the middle of January. With their shootout win and one-goal victory, the Phantoms are looking for their first three-game winning streak since early December. Although they are 13th in the Eastern Conference, the Phantoms, who have two road games and one game in Adirondack over the next few days, are five points out of eighth place. The Future Flyers Weekly Report follows the weekly progress of Flyers prospects. Forwards: Marcel Noebels finally broke out offensively , scoring four goals and assisting on two in three games with Portland. Minor League Update: 2/13-2/19

The Adirondack Phantoms won half of their games this week, as they ended their lengthy road losing streak in the process. After they went without a single road win in the months of December and January, the Phantoms finally earned a win away from home. Adirondack will try to climb back into the playoff picture this week, as they finish their four-game road trip before they return home on Sunday. The Future Flyers Weekly Report follows the weekly progress of Flyers prospects. Brendan Ranford moved up from 13th to 10th in WHL scoring after another strong weekly performance.
