After taking part in his first game for Team QMJHL against Team Russia in the Subway Super Series, Samuel Morin suited up for his second contest last Wednesday, which was a 4-3 victory for Team QMJHL. Despite not recording a point in the win, Morin was plus-3 with a pair of penalty minutes. In both contests for Team QMJHL, Morin had zero points and four PIMs with a plus-3 rating. Flyers Struggle to Capitalize on Man Advantage, Fall to Florida 3-1

Missed powerplay opportunities and struggles with puck control were the Flyers’ downfall as they lost to the Florida Panthers on Monday night with a final score of 3-1. Sean Bergenheim had two goals for the Panthers, and Erik Gudbranson was responsible for the third. Wayne Simmonds scored the lone Flyers goal. Steve Mason recorded 28 of 31 shots, while Tim Thomas held the Flyers to only one goal on 38 shots.
