After much negotiation and legal wrangling over the fate of its players heading to Sochi for the Winter Olympics this coming February, the National Hockey League released its master schedule for the 2013-14 season on Friday. As it has been since 1995, each club will play 82 regular-season games, with the season-opener occurring on October 1 and the finales taking place on April 13.
