Flyers draft Robert Hägg in the second round of the 2013 draft

With the 41st overall pick in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, the Flyers select Swedish left-handed defenseman, Robert Hägg, from Modo Jr. Hägg, who is listed at 6’2″ and 201lb. at the age of 18, is a well rounded defenseman who was projected to go in the latter half of the first round. Although his game is fairly solid, his physical play lacks consistency. He also told reporters today that he needed to work on his “wild inconsistency”, according to CSN Philly’s Sarah Baicker. 2013 NHL Entry Draft: Updated (6/28) Mock Draft Two

In my final mock draft the largest change is found at the top. With the speculation coming out of Denver that the Avalanche will take a forward with the first overall pick I have promotes Finnish sensation, Aleksander Barkov to the top spot. Seth Jones falls to Florida at second overall. Nathan MacKinnon stays at three and Jonathan Drouin drops to Nashville at four. Curtis Lazar makes his first appearance in my mock drafts, dropping Nic Petan out of the top 30.
