BRAYDEN BLUSTER During last week’s podcast, we discussed some of the players that the Flyers might try to re-sign once free agency hits in the offseason. Win streak ends in Winnipeg, Flyers lose 4-1 to Jets

The Philadelphia Flyers saw their four-game win streak snapped today in Winnipeg with a 4-1 loss to the Jets. Evander Kane and Bryan Little each had a goal and an assist, while Blake Wheeler registered two assists in a four-goal second period for the Jets. Ruslan Fedotenko was the lone Flyer to beat Ondrej Pavelec, as the goaltender made 30 saves for the win. Ilya Bryzgalov made 12 saves on 16 shots against before being pulled after the conclusion of the second period. Flight Plan: North and South East

The Philadelphia Flyers are feeling a little bit better about themselves today as they beat the Boston Bruins yesterday by a score of 3-1. Despite losing three of their last four games, they gained a point in two of them and are currently just four points out of the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. This week will see them host the Washington Capitals and Montreal Canadiens, before travelling north to visit the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Winnipeg Jets.
