The Flyers season may have been a downer, but there were still positives to take out of it. Such positives were the strong play of Jakub Voracek, Luke Schenn, and the young kids on defense. Day three of the IIHF World Championships: France-Austria 3-1 Team France started very well leading by two goals just five minutes into the first period. They added one more in the second period and Austria was only able to manage one goal. Belarus-Slovenia 4-3 Team Belarus won 4-3 after losing their first game to the Czech Republic.
