Flyperbole: Rumor Ruminations on Brayden Schenn, Luke Schenn, Sean Couturier

Rumors, rumors, winning certainly doesn’t stop them. Brayden Schenn seems to be the focus of the rumor mill this week.   BRAYDEN BONANZA Darren Dreger mentioned on TSN that he’s been hearing Brayden Schenn’s name pop up in trade rumors. Per the transcript on TSN:   “Now the Flyers aren’t trying to push out Schenn – they may want to push out his brother Luke – but what they’ve told teams quietly is that if there is the right deal available, if they can find the right fit, then absolutely they would include Brayden Schenn in a trade scenario. While it could certainly still happen, a lot of that talk has died down after the Flyers won 3 straight. There’s three basic mindsets here:   Good, Braydon Coburn is …

Game 17 Preview: Philadelphia Flyers @ Ottawa Senators

Philadelphia Flyers (5-10-1) @ Ottawa Senators (7-6-4), 7:30pm, CSN-Philly Tonight’s meeting with the Senators in Ottawa is an interesting one for several reasons. One reason being the anticipation of Claude Giroux’s first performance after scoring his first goal of the season. We all know about Giroux’s recent goal drought, so we’ll see how he performs tonight after he has the weight of the World lifted off his shoulders. It’s easy to assume he’ll play more confidently, but what does that lead to? Will the ice suddenly become more open for him, as well as his line partners Scott Hartnell and …
