There has been a lot of interest in Philadelphia Flyers’ prospect Shayne Gostisbehere since the team picked him in the third round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. This weekend may have created even more intrigue around the defenseman, as an opposing coach had some strong opinions on the blue liner. Gostisbehere, who was named ECAC’s Player of the Week, played well this weekend against RPI. I wanted to do something a bit different this week by recording a quick video that shows how I like to use advanced statistics (at least in one example).
