We are now at the point of the offseason where the biggest news related to former Philadelphia Flyers has reached Andreas Nodl signing in Switzerland and Ryan Potulny being released from a KHL squad. The list of players who were once linked to the Orange and Black and endured transactions this week is still rather long, but Nodl and Potulny are the only two who actually played a game for the Flyers. Then and Now: Sean O’Donnell

After he finished his second stint with the Los Angeles Kings in 2010, defenseman Sean O’Donnell joined the Philadelphia Flyers after two seasons with the Western Conference squad that introduced him to the NHL in 1994-1995. With a one-year deal that had a cap hit of $1.3 million, O’Donnell served as a third-pairing blue liner for the Orange and Black. After he totaled three goals in 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 with the Kings, O’Donnell had one goal in a Philadelphia Flyers’ sweater. Frequent Flyer Miles: Bryzgalov to train in Sweden, Foster leaves for KHL, O’Donnell joins Kings’ management

As usual, several former members of the Philadelphia Flyers’ organization and draft picks moved this week, as four of the players suited up for the Orange and Black in recent seasons. The group of Ilya Bryzgalov, Kurtis Foster, Sean O’Donnell, and Nikolay Zherdev earned new titles within the last seven days. The most intriguing news since last Wednesday may be Bryzgalov’s move, as he will train with Erik Granqvist, who is a coach for Farjestad in the SHL. The move is said to be for training, despite the fact many think Brzygalov will eventually find a spot on Farjestad’s roster …
