The night after a brutal 7-2 beatdown by the Chicago Blackhawks, the Flyers bounced back with a 2-1 victory over the Montreal Canadiens. Michael Raffl and Claude Giroux lit the lamp for Philadelphia, while Alex Galchenyuk scored the lone goal for Montreal. Steve Mason made a total of twenty saves on twenty-one shots.
