  Michael Raffl wristed a shot passed Islanders goaltender Kevin Poulin with 4:15 remaining in the game to give the Flyers a 5-4 lead Saturday night at the Wells Fargo Center. The Flyers would go on to win 6-4. Andrej Meszaros continued his offensive production, netting two goals in the first period, for his third and fourth goals of the season. According to ESPN’s Pierre LeBrun, the Flyers have reached an agreement on an extension for goaltender Steve Mason, announced by the team today. The deal is reported to be for 3-years, $12.3 million. Mason will receive a nice raise from his current one-year, $1.5-million dollar deal he signed last year after being acquired from the Columbus Blue Jackets for Michael Leighton and a third-round pick in the 2015 NHL Draft.
