Philadelphia Flyers (10-11-2) @ Tampa Bay Lightning (15-8-1), 7:30pm, NHL Network/CSN-Philly/SUN Sports The Philadelphia Flyers will look to start another winning streak, and hopefully another lengthy point streak, tonight against the Tampa Bay Lightning in Florida. Although the Orange and Black failed to extend both their three-game winning streak and their seven-game point streak against the Florida Panthers on Monday, they have been given a nice opportunity to bounce back against a Lightning squad that will be dealing with two key injuries. Flight Plan: Turning It Around

The Philadelphia Flyers have been one of the hottest teams in the entire NHL in November. Since their first game of the month, a 7-0 blowout loss to the Washington Capitals, they have managed to garner at least a point in the standings in every game except one, as they’ve gone 7-1-2. It’s a pretty impressive little run they’ve been on, but what’s also refreshing is that they are starting to score goals at a more consistent pace. They’ve scored more than two goals on six occasions now for the season, which is a feat they accomplished just once through …

Fake Hockey Help: Injuries to the stars, Versteeg to Chicago, Bryzgalov joins the Oilers

The biggest news of the week around the NHL was the injury to Steven Stamkos. With a broken tibia, Stamkos is expected to be out until at least the Olympics, which doesn’t even seem all that likely for the Tampa Bay forward. A perennial goal-scoring machine, many people most likely took Stamkos in the top four overall in their fantasy hockey draft if he didn’t go first overall. With the recurring injuries to Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin paired with the inconsistency of Alex Ovechkin, Stamkos would have been the safest bet. Now, Stamkos owners are wondering what to do. …
