Bryzgalov leads Flyers to 3-1 win over Bruins

The Philadelphia Flyers grabbed two points today with a 3-1 win over the Boston Bruins today at the Wells Fargo Center. The trio of Mike Knuble, Matt Read, and Ruslan Fedotenko found the back of the net today, as the only visitor to beat Ilya Bryzgalov in victory was Nathan Horton. Bryz had 33 saves to Tuukka Rask’s 19, as Rask allowed two goals on 21 shots. With both teams coming off of bad losses, the Flyers scored the game’s first two goals and managed to earn two points despite being outshot 34-22 in the tilt. Thanks to Bryzgalov’s goaltending …

Jaromir Jagr and his magnificent smile aren’t walking through that door. CLAUDE GIROUX chimes in at the …

Atlantic Watch: Penguins on winning streak, Devils snap losing streak, Islanders’ point streak ends

The Philadelphia Flyers lost their first two games this week to stretch their losing streak to three games before they edged out the Buffalo Sabres on Sunday for a pair of points. Philly will have a home-and-home with a struggling Devils club over the next few days, as they look to gain a spot in the Eastern Conference’s top eight.
