For the second time in two days, the Philadelphia Flyers were outworked by the opposition, as the Carolina Hurricanes grabbed a 2-1 victory at home. It was a Radek Dvorak goal in the second period that proved to be a game-winner, as Jay Harrison also scored for the hosts. Flyers Roster Takes Shape; Hall, Gervais sent to Adirondack

The Flyers 2013-14 roster finally has been set, just minutes before the 5:00 PM deadline set by the NHL. After forward Adam Hall and defenseman Bruno Gervais cleared waivers, the team sent them to their AHL affiliate Adirondack Phantoms. General Manager Paul Holmgren also said that defenseman Chris Pronger would be put on long-term injury reserve before the night was over. Flyers will LTIR Pronger tonight, Homer says. Waiving of Hall leaves questions unanswered among the forward group

The Philadelphia Flyers waived Adam Hall on Saturday and he cleared waivers on Sunday. While he has yet to be sent to down to the Phantoms, you can’t help but wonder what is in store for the forward group. It’s entirely possible (probably even likely) that we see additional moves before the season begins, but I seriously scratch my head with this one. Any plan that potentially has Jay Rosehill in your regular twelve forwards is not a plan that I like.
