Game 43 Preview: Philadelphia Flyers @ New Jersey Devils

Philadelphia Flyers (21-17-4) @ New Jersey Devils (17-18-8), 7:30pm, NBCSN/TCN-PH, TSN2, RDS2 The story of tonight’s game was going to be about Ray Emery in net to close out the Philadelphia Flyers’ road trip with the return of Michael Raffl to the lineup. With a few questionable names on the Canadian roster, including former Flyer Jeff Carter, one has to think Giroux isn’t too happy about Steve Yzerman’s decision. In terms of how the decision impacts the Flyers, it should be all positive. …

Flight Plan: Home After the Holidays

Flight Plan: Taking Off

The Philadelphia Flyers have now won two games in a row, both against divisional rivals in the New York Rangers and New York Islanders, and have finally lit the lamp more than two times in one game. More importantly perhaps, the team is finally healthy as Scott Hartnell and Vincent Lecavalier have both returned from injury.
