NHL Fandom Survey: Flyers/Penguins best rivalry in the league; Penguins the most loved and hated franchise

A friend recently pointed out an extremely interesting survey he discovered on Reddit. The survey asked for feedback from NHL fans on how they felt about all of the other franchises throughout the league. For every franchise you could choose love, like, indifferent, dislike, or hate. The Philadelphia Flyers signed a pair of Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds to entry-level contracts this week. One of those was expected, as goaltending prospect Anthony Stolarz inked a deal. The KHL playoffs start today, as 16 of the league’s 26 clubs compete for the Gagarin Cup. The Philadelphia Flyers acquired Tony Amonte in March of 2003 from the Phoenix Coyotes, rescuing the Boston native from an underwhelming free agent situation. In exchange for the veteran forward, Philly gave the Coyotes Guillaume Lefebvre, a third-round pick in the 2003 NHL Draft (with which they chose Tyler Redenbach), and a second-round pick in the 2004 NHL Draft. The 60th overall pick eventually landed in the hands of the New York Rangers, who selected Brandon Dubinsky from the Portland Winterhawks. The Philadelphia Flyers acquired defenseman Mattias Timander late in January of 2004 from the New York Islanders in exchange for a seventh-round pick in the 2004 NHL Draft. The Isles used the Flyers’ draft pick, which Philly obtained by swapping a pair of picks with the Tampa Bay Lightning at the 2003 draft, to draft defenseman Chris Campoli, who played in 233 games for New York before also playing for the Ottawa Senators, Chicago Blackhawks, and Montreal Canadiens.
