Fake Hockey Help: Star goalies return, Horton and Doan return to action

Although it might be considered the year of the backup netminder, a lot of franchise goaltenders returned to action this week. The group of Corey Crawford, Jonathan Quick, and Jimmy Howard all made their way back to the blue paint. How does this impact your fantasy team? In Chicago and Los Angeles, both Crawford and Quick are back in action. Since both players are owned in 100 percent of ESPN leagues, it’s not a matter of picking them up, but if it’s worth keeping their backups. Fake Hockey Help: The goaltending carousel continues

Goaltending in fantasy hockey is the hardest thing to anticipate. There are rarely any locks when it comes to picking a good goaltender. Flight Plan: Rough Skies Ahead

The Philadelphia Flyers are four games into their six-game road trip and are 2-2-0. This past week they were 1-2-0, beating the Detroit Red Wings by a score of 6-3, but losing to the Minnesota Wild, 2-0, and getting shellacked by the Dallas Stars, 5-1. Steve Mason allowed more than three goals for the first time since coming over to Philadelphia late last season, but through no fault of his own. The Stars’ top line of Jamie Benn, Valeri Nichushkin, and Tyler Seguin was dominant. Seguin scored a natural hat trick as the three players combined for a total of …
