Then and Now: Randy Robitaille

After a 40-point campaign with the Minnesota Wild in 2005-2006, Randy Robitaille joined the Philadelphia Flyers’ organization in the summer of 2006. The now 37-year-old forward played all of 28 games with the Orange and Black before being dealt to a divisional rival. In his 28 games with Philly, Robitaille totaled five goals and 12 helpers. His first goal with the Flyers came against Johan Hedberg in a 3-2 shootout win over the Atlanta Thrashers on October 26th, 2006. Then and Now: Dmitry Afanasenkov

Late in December of 2006, the Philadelphia Flyers claimed forward Dmitry Afanasenkov off of waivers from the Tampa Bay Lightning. Impressed with his three goals and three assists in 33 games, Philly decided to dress the winger for 41 games in their lowly 2006-2007 campaign. For only playing half the season for the Orange and Black, Afanasenkov’s 15 points sounds pretty impressive.
