Flyers drop preseason game to Leafs

Another day, another fight. This bout, featuring Jody Shelley and Jay Rosehill offered little along the lines of metaphorical significance about the return of hockey, though. Flyers Lose On Boyce’s Late Goal

Facing a team hungry for a playoff spot, the Flyers lacked urgency late in the third period leading to their 3-2 defeat against the Toronto Maple Leafs this evening. In a play resulting from hard work in the corner, Darryl Boyce scored the game-winning goal for Toronto with under five minutes to play in regulation.
