Greiss stops 36, Flyers fall 2-1 to Coyotes

The Philadelphia Flyers endured another game where they struggled to find the back of the net, as they fell to the Phoenix Coyotes by a score of 2-1 tonight at the Wells Fargo Center. Thomas Greiss played a strong game for the visitors, as he denied 36 of the Flyers’ 37shots in the game. Rob Klinkhammer and Oliver Ekman-Larsson produced the goals for Phoenix, as Steve Mason provided 29 saves for Philly. Max Talbot was the only Flyer to solve Greiss. Flight Plan Week of 11.27.2011

The Philadelphia Flyers won two of their four games this week. They were able to record comeback victories over the New York Islanders and the Montreal Canadiens, but they lost and were thoroughly outplayed by both the Carolina Hurricanes and the New York Rangers. It seems as if ever since Brayden Schenn broke his foot by blocking a shot, the rest of the team has been dropping like flies, missing a few games or weeks here or there.
