So, the hockey season is back but there’s always room for more hockey. Plus, we promised we would host a fundraiser for Sandy Hook victims. Well, here it is. What: Two-team ice hockey game fundraiser When: Sunday, 2/24 from 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Where: Pennsauken Flyers Skate Zone Cost: $40 per person UPDATE: There are no more spots left. We raised somewhere between $400-$500 (estimated) for Hurricane Sandy victims during Saturday’s fundraiser. Now, we need to donate the money and I would like those involved in this process in any way to have a say in this matter. Please let us know below where you believe we should donate the money. We will keep this poll open until Sunday and then donate the proceeds to the winning charity. Thank you in advance for your time and opinion.

Today is a difficult day. Nobody will deny that. Tomorrow, we will try to do good to help the victims of Superstorm Sandy by raising some money in a charity ice hockey game. It’s a small gesture but it shows that people do care and want to help. That gesture was furthered today when numerous people mentioned that they wanted to do something to honor the victims of today’s unspeakable tragedy in Connecticut. We will do something.
