We are now at the point of the offseason where the biggest news related to former Philadelphia Flyers has reached Andreas Nodl signing in Switzerland and Ryan Potulny being released from a KHL squad. The Philadelphia Flyers had three draft picks in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft: Andreas Nodl, Michael Ratchuk, and Denis Bodrov. Both Ratchuk and Bodrov never played a game in the NHL, but Nodl turned out to be a serviceable player for Philly for a few seasons. Picked before a lengthy list of productive players later in the second round, such as Milan Lucic and Keith Seabrook, Nodl is struggling to make it in the NHL as a 26-year-old winger.
