Of the six draft picks the Philadelphia Flyers had in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, many fans know about Samuel Morin, Robert Hagg, and Tyrell Goulbourne. The hopes are that Morin and Hagg will be on the Flyers’ blue line for awhile starting in a few years, while Goulbourne is expected to be the second coming of Zac Rinaldo, whether that’s good news or bad news for the club. Frequent Flyer Miles: Leighton to the KHL, Fritsch will play in Italy, Amorosa commits to Providence College

The biggest news of the week, in terms of where former Philadelphia Flyers went, is Michael Leighton signing in the KHL. The former Flyer did not play a single game as a Columbus Blue Jacket in 2013, as he has joined Donbass Donetsk for the 2013-2014 campaign. Leighton didn’t play a single game for the Flyers in 2011-2012 and only appeared in one game during the 2013 shortened season.
