The Flyers season may have been a downer, but there were still positives to take out of it. Such positives were the strong play of Jakub Voracek, Luke Schenn, and the young kids on defense. Now, we take a look at the Bad. Braydon Coburn: Mistakenly, I chose Coburn as my dark-horse for the Norris trophy this year. Coburn has all the tools to be a top-tier defenseman. 5/6/2013 Germany-Slovakia 2-3 Noebels 0+0, 2:48 TOI Radivojevic 0+0, 17:05 TOI Team Slovakia won their third game against Germany 3-2 despite losing twice in that game. Team Germany has only one point so far, while Slovakia has six points. Czech Republic-Switzerland 2-5 Voracek 0+1, 19:18 TOI, -2 Team Czech Republic lost the second straight game when they couldn’t beat the red-hot Switzerland. The Czechs made it more difficult for themselves to advance into the playoffs. IIHF World Championship Day 3 – Team Switzerland is on a roll, Read with a goal, Kovar heading to KHL

Day three of the IIHF World Championships: France-Austria 3-1 Team France started very well leading by two goals just five minutes into the first period. They added one more in the second period and Austria was only able to manage one goal. Belarus-Slovenia 4-3 Team Belarus won 4-3 after losing their first game to the Czech Republic. Alexei Ugarov scored the game-winning goal with four minutes remaining in the third period. Russia-Germany 4-1 Noebels – healthy scratch Bryzgalov – healthy scratch Team Russia beat Germany 4-1 winning their 12th straight (including the last World Championships). The Flyers Season In Review: The Good

The Flyers season is over. We fans went on a long ride through a short amount of time. 48 games in fewer than 100 days. Blood, sweat, tears, injuries and fatigue plagued this 2013 Flyers team from the start of the season. But, let’s not forget, the Flyers gave us plenty of memories from this year.
