The Philadelphia Flyers dropped a 3-0 contest to the New Jersey Devils tonight at the Wells Fargo Center. Ryan Carter, Matt D’Agostini, and Adam Henrique had the goals for Jersey in the win, while Martin Brodeur posted a 23-save shutout to end the Devils’ 10-game losing streak and hand New Jersey their first win in April. The Dueling Fists of Fury have been given a vote of confidence by the Flyers’ front office, as both Zac Rinaldo and Jay Rosehill were signed to two-year contract extensions on Wednesday evening. The former recorded three goals and five points to go along with 85 penalty minutes in 32 games for the Flyers but has been out of action since April 3 with a high-ankle sprain of his left leg.
