After putting themselves in a very big hole, the Philadelphia Flyers ended this week with two emphatic wins to show that they could be a playoff team. It might be too little too late, but the Orange and Black will carry their two-game winning streak into their upcoming seven-day stretch. The Philadelphia Flyers entered this week on a winning streak, but they left it on a losing skid and can now only hope they receive some help to make the postseason. Josh Bailey scored the shootout winner against Ilya Bryzgalov to give the New York Islanders the 4-3 shootout victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday night. Brad Boyes also scored in the shootout, while Claude Giroux potted one for the Flyers on a beautiful move made famous by Pavel Datsyuk.
