Then and Now: Patrik Juhlin

The Philadelphia Flyers had 10 draft picks in the 1989 NHL Entry Draft. Of those 10 picks, only three players went on to play in the NHL. One of those picks was Greg Johnson, a center that took part in 785 NHL games, but none of them with the Flyers. Another was Reid Simpson, a left winger who played in one game for the Orange and Black. The third player was Patrik Juhlin, who competed in 56 games for Philadelphia. After playing in the SHL during the lockout in the 1994-1995 season, Juhlin participated in 42 games for the Flyers. …

Trenton Update: 11/16-11/22

The Trenton Titans split their two games in Elmira against the Jackals last weekend to snap a long losing streak. The six-game losing streak that lasted three weeks, and saw five losses to the Reading Royals, has dropped the Titans to 12th in the Eastern Conference. Trenton looks to win three out of their last four with two home games this weekend against a pair of opponents who aren’t the Royals or Jackals.
