Frequent Flyer Miles: Leighton to the KHL, Fritsch will play in Italy, Amorosa commits to Providence College

The biggest news of the week, in terms of where former Philadelphia Flyers went, is Michael Leighton signing in the KHL. The former Flyer did not play a single game as a Columbus Blue Jacket in 2013, as he has joined Donbass Donetsk for the 2013-2014 campaign. Trenton Update: 11/16-11/22

The Trenton Titans split their two games in Elmira against the Jackals last weekend to snap a long losing streak. The Titans ended their losing streak with a 2-1 win over the Jackals last week at First Arena. After failing to score a single goal for the Kalamazoo Wings …

Three of Trenton’s losses to the Royals came this past weekend, as the club was minutes away from ending their losing streak. After coming up short in both of the clubs’ meetings last week, the Titans dropped last Friday’s meeting in a 2-1 affair at the Sun National Bank Center. Bryan Haczyk leveled the game at one with his third …

Trenton Update: 10/19-10/25

The Trenton Titans suffered their first loss of the season last weekend, but they’re still ranked near the top of the ECHL standings early in the season. The Titans were able to start off the season 4-0-0 before they recorded their first loss in Cincinnati on Saturday night. Trenton hopes a pair of home games against the Toledo Walleye this weekend will allow them to gain ground in the division, conference, and league. On Friday night, the Titans walked into the Ford Center and left with a 4-3 victory over the Evansville IceMen, an affiliate for both the St. Louis Blues and Columbus Blue Jackets. Luke Pither’s …
