Future Flyers Report: McGinn’s quiet return to NHL, Larsson traded in the USHL

After taking part in six NHL games earlier in the season, Tye McGinn made his way back to the Philadelphia Flyers’ lineup this weekend, as both Matt Read and Zac Rinaldo were out with injuries. His two-game tenure with the squad wasn’t as noticeable as his time with the team earlier in the campaign. With the Adirondack Phantoms, the tandem of Mark Alt and Oliver Lauridsen look to be two defensemen that could one day be on Philly’s blue line. Another d-man who could surprisingly wear the Orange and Black one day is Valeri Vasiliev. Picked 201st overall in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft by the Flyers, Vasiliev was …

Future Flyers Report: The former Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds

Last year for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds of the OHL, Nick Cousins led the team with 103 points in 64 games while Brandon Alderson sat third on the team with 64 points in 67 games. After both players saw a handful of games with the Adirondack Phantoms last season, Cousins and Alderson haven’t quite produced the gaudy numbers they provided last year.
