A dominant win over the New York Islanders and a pair of comebacks helped the Flyers gain five crucial points in the standings this week, as Philly still has a slim chance to win the Eastern Conference. Flight Plan is a column that takes a more in depth look at the Flyers’ upcoming opponents every week here at Flyers Faithful. After two solid performances to start the week, wins over the Montreal Canadiens and the Minnesota Wild, the Philadelphia Flyers lost two games in the shootout.
