The Philadelphia Flyers tried to add one of the best defensemen in the NHL to the roster by signing restricted free agent Shea Weber to a 14 year, $110 million offer sheet. Their hopes were dashed on Tuesday when the Nashville Predators announced their decision to match the Flyers’ offer. The Predators had until 11:30 pm Wednesday to match the Flyers’ offer.
