Penn State’s struggles continue against Wisconsin

Game one versus the Badgers last Friday night was simple not a pretty game to watch. The Nittany Lions were thoroughly outplayed in all facets of the game. The Badgers out shot Penn State by a 43-28 margin and the Lions went 0-for-3 on the powerplay, while Wisconsin finished 0-for-4 on the power play. Badger netminder Joel Rumpel turned aside 27 shots for the 7-1 victory. Penn State gets back into the win column; Prepare for Sacred Heart Friday

The Penn State Nittany Lions snapped their four-game losing streak Friday with a 5-4 victory over the Robert Morris Colonials. This game is just what the doctored ordered for the Nittany Lions. It was not their best game of season by far, but any win is sufficient for Guy Gadowsky and his players. Penn State still took way too many penalties as they committed eight penalties for a total of 24 minutes.
