The night after a brutal 7-2 beatdown by the Chicago Blackhawks, the Flyers bounced back with a 2-1 victory over the Montreal Canadiens. Michael Raffl and Claude Giroux lit the lamp for Philadelphia, while Alex Galchenyuk scored the lone goal for Montreal. Steve Mason made a total of twenty saves on twenty-one shots. The Philadelphia Flyers failed to hold on to a lead in the third period, as they fell to the Ottawa Senators in a shootout by the count of 5-4 tonight.
