Frequent Flyer Miles: Nodl to play in Switzerland, Potulny’s injury results in departure from KHL

We are now at the point of the offseason where the biggest news related to former Philadelphia Flyers has reached Andreas Nodl signing in Switzerland and Ryan Potulny being released from a KHL squad. The list of players who were once linked to the Orange and Black and endured transactions this week is still rather long, but Nodl and Potulny are the only two who actually played a game for the Flyers. This weekend, Kessel had a three-assist game on Saturday and a two-point game yesterday. Thanks to Stephen Schultz’s four-goal game on Saturday, Kessel showed his ability to start a scoring …

Future Flyers Report: Zolnierczyk and Gustafsson in the NHL

During the 2011-2012 campaign, the tandem of Harry Zolnierczyk and Erik Gustafsson saw their fair share of action with the Philadelphia Flyers. The pair, who are both in the top six for points with the Adirondack Phantoms this season, each played a game for the Orange and Black over the last several days, as the two participated in at least 30 contests last season.
