2013 NHL Entry Draft: Updated (6/28) Mock Draft Two

In my final mock draft the largest change is found at the top. With the speculation coming out of Denver that the Avalanche will take a forward with the first overall pick I have promotes Finnish sensation, Aleksander Barkov to the top spot. Seth Jones falls to Florida at second overall. Nathan MacKinnon stays at three and Jonathan Drouin drops to Nashville at four. Curtis Lazar makes his first appearance in my mock drafts, dropping Nic Petan out of the top 30. Steven Santini also hops back in at 30th overall going to the defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks. …

Leading up to the draft Jared Abbott and I will be putting out several iterations of a first round mock. As the draft order becomes finalized and teams’ rosters begin to take shape it will surely effect the projected picks. With the NHL Draft lottery completed, Jared Abbott and I wanted to put out our first mock drafts of the first round . Here is his mock.
