Despite a win in their first game of the week, the Phantoms lost their second game to drop their record to 2-7-0 in their last nine games. Adirondack is looking for a pair of wins in the upcoming week, as they play the team they beat this week twice on the road. Adirondack looks to add on to their winning streak with a trio of divisional games this week. Friday the 13th is usually unlucky, but it proved fortuitous for the Phantoms as they beat the visiting Hamilton …

Minor League Update: 12/24-12/31

To finish off 2011, the Adirondack Phantoms closed out their rough December with a 2-1-0 week. The Phantoms may have needed a shootout and overtime to pull off both of their victories, but the pair of wins improved the club’s record to 5-6-1 for the final month in the calender year. As they play a pair of road games this week, the Phantoms look to extend their current two-game winning streak. The Phantoms extended their losing streak to three games with a 5-2 loss on Wednesday in Adirondack to the Binghamton Senators (the Ottawa Senators’ AHL affiliate). Rob Klinkhammer recorded a …

Minor League Update: 12/18-12/24

Unfortunately for Adirondack, their next two games are with teams against which they have gone just 1-3-0. To start the previous week, the Phantoms lost 1-0 in overtime on the road against the Hamilton Bulldogs (the Montreal Canadiens’ affiliate) Tuesday night. Saving the first …
